Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery required.
• HPCSA Registration for Independent Practice as General Practitioner.
• Minimum 5 years post Community Service.
• Minimum 5 years private general practice experience.
• Experience in international medical assistance or remote medical services is advantageous.
• Current ACLS/ATLS/PALS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frontline medical support and treatment guidance to clients.
• Provide clinical support and validate treatment for staff in remote sites.
• Oversee medical evacuation and repatriation governance.
• Conduct risk analyses of condition versus geography for medical decisions.
• Provide telephonic medical advice to patients, relatives, and client stakeholders.
• Monitor cases to closure ensuring appropriate medical outcomes and financial compliance.
