Job summary

Bridgestone AME in Johannesburg seeks a Fixed Assets Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of company assets, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring accurate FAR records and compliance with group policies.

Based in Johannesburg, you will perform asset tracking, depreciation reporting, and cross-functional coordination with Finance, Procurement and IT. The role supports audits and monthly BPC reporting to Europe.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar fixed asset role.
• Experience in a fast-paced, multinational environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Fixed Asset Register (FAR) with acquisitions, transfers and disposals.
• File asset-related documents and assist in month-end reconciliations.
• Manage asset lifecycle including depreciation and custodians/locations.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement and IT for asset purchases and capex.
• Create asset numbers in SAP and track in Capex tool; liaise with Bridgestone teams for monthly reporting.
