Job summary

Werfnet is seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant for our Durbanville, Cape Town office. The role covers day-to-day accounting across multiple entities and currencies, reporting to the Management Accountant, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will handle month-end processes, reconciliations, VAT submissions and assist with audits in a dynamic, export-oriented environment. Office-based, with standard hours and marketrelated benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience up to trial balance and IFRS for SMEs.
• VAT201 submissions and tax knowledge.
• Multicurrency and multi-entity experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting function up to trial balance.
• Perform cashbook, bank, creditor and debtor reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices, customer invoicing and payment runs.
• Prepare month-end journals, accruals and management reports.
• Reconcile balance sheet and intercompany accounts.
• Assist with inventory, landed costs and year-end packs.
