Qualifications

• CA(SA) with 3–5 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in financial control, audit and accounting.
• Proven ability to design and implement financial controls and processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and strengthen financial processes and controls across the group.
• Design, document and implement financial controls across payments, banking, reconciliations, accounting, procurement and reporting.
• Establish segregation of duties, approvals, access controls and supporting documentation.
• Perform internal reviews to ensure controls operate effectively and processes are followed.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and key accounting processes for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to resolve control deficiencies and improve processes.
• Develop policies, procedures and control documentation for group-wide use.
• Support implementation of new systems and banking arrangements with built-in controls.
• Use technology and automation to strengthen controls and reduce manual work.
• Track issues and actions through to resolution.
• Support external audits and regulatory reviews as required.
• Provide the Global Finance Director with clear reporting on material risks and remediation progress.
