Qualifications

• Significant experience within commercial or large-scale farming.
• Experience managing farm operations and agricultural teams.
• Strong crop-production knowledge.
• Experience managing sizeable workforces.
• Hands-on and operational management style.
• Good planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day farm operations and crop production.
• Planning and coordinating planting, growing, harvesting and related activities.
• Managing and developing farm employees and operational teams.
• Monitoring crop quality, yields and productivity.
• Ensuring effective use of labour, equipment and agricultural resources.
• Supporting irrigation, fertilisation and crop-management programmes.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and operational compliance.
• Monitoring costs and helping drive operational efficiencies.
• Working closely with packhouse, logistics and other operational functions where required.
