Job summary

Hollywoodbets, based in Durban, South Africa, is seeking a Compliance and Legal Advisor for its Purple Team to oversee legal documentation across all Groups and advise on risk in key agreements. You will support the CFO and executives on regulatory and compliance matters within the gambling group.

• Commercial experience in drafting legal agreements.
• Legal degree.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Take oversight of and manage legal documents across all Groups.
• Review risk areas in contracts and supplier agreements.
• Stay updated on POPIA, FICA, AML and inform stakeholders.
• Assist with contract management system implementation.
• Support compliance related to Gambling Boards and reports.
• Coordinate licensing applications and renewals with Gambling Boards.
• Liaise with regulators on licensing and regulations.
