Placements24 is seeking a diligent Legal Counsel with a focus on compliance to join our legal team in Bloemfontein. The role ensures operations comply with South African laws and industry regulations, shaping the company’s ethical and legal framework.

You will develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, conduct risk assessments, and advise business units on regulatory matters such as POPIA, FICA, and competition law.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with at least 5 years of legal experience.
• Specialization in corporate compliance/regulatory law.
• Knowledge of SA legislation such as Companies Act, POPIA, and FICA.
• Experience in risk assessments and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage compliance programs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive compliance programs across the organization.
