German-Speaking GMS Data Specialist (SAP/IT)

Job summary

ATS Client in Cape Town seeks a German-speaking GMS Data Specialist to prepare manufacturer material data, BOMs and spare part information for Workplace, Datacenter and Networking devices, supporting global and local contracts.

You will work with ERP systems like SAP, apply analytical skills, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced IT environment, with travel as needed. Excellent English and German fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Very good technical product knowledge within IT environment.
• Experience with ERP systems e.g. SAP.
• Excellent analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
• High reliability, efficient planning & structured organization of workload.
• Working effectively in a global and collaborative environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong interpersonal & communications skills and confidence in working with cross-functional stakeholders and teams at all levels.
• Excellent English skills, written and spoken (minim. CEFR at level B2).
• Must be fluent German.
• Ability and willingness to travel globally.

Responsibilities

• Access and research technical device information in manufacturers and suppliers data sources.
• Compile the search result of data into our client's standardized system specifications.
• Administrate and monitor relevant material and master data with a high attention to detail, ensure high level accuracy of data.
• Provide comprehensive and correct master data for reporting and processing of information.
• Prioritize and co-ordinate own and others work schedules to ensure that business and customer needs are met, and deadlines are adhered to.
• Able to communicate on complex issues to meet business and customer requirements to avoid escalations.
• Act in accordance with our clients Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks.
