Placements24 in South Africa seeks a Geothermal Energy Engineer to design, develop and optimize geothermal power plants in a hybrid work setting in Klerksdorp. You will apply thermo-fluid principles to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability across projects.

Collaborating with geologists, geophysicists and operations teams, you will model reservoir performance, oversee drilling and production, and drive analytical solutions from field data to on-site implementation.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Geothermal Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of geothermal energy experience or related reservoir engineering.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and reservoir principles.
• Experience with geothermal drilling, well design, and production operations.
• Proficiency in relevant simulation and modeling software.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate effectively.
