Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus.

• Experience with soil/rock investigations and lab tests.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software (PLAXIS, GeoStudio) desirable.
• ECSA registration or eligibility is a plus.

• Ensure compliance with relevant geotechnical standards, codes, and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in geotechnical investigations and analysis for infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience with various soil investigation techniques and laboratory testing procedures.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering principles.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio) is highly desirable.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
• Experience working on large-scale projects such as dams, bridges, highways, or major buildings in Gauteng .
• Ability to manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
