Placements24 invites a Geophysical Data Analyst to join our client in Nelspruit (Mbombela). The role focuses on processing seismic, gravity, and magnetic data to identify hydrocarbon prospects and support exploration activities.

You will use Petrel, HampsonRussell, and Kingdom Suite to interpret data, build subsurface models, and deliver clear reports and visualizations to geologists and reservoir engineers. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of geophysical data analysis and interpretation experience in Oil & Gas.
• Proficiency with Petrel, HampsonRussell, Kingdom Suite.
• Strong knowledge of seismic processing and interpretation principles.

Responsibilities

• Process, interpret, and analyze geophysical datasets, primarily seismic data, for exploration and appraisal projects.
• Perform data quality control, attribute analysis, and inversion techniques to enhance subsurface imaging.
• Integrate geophysical data with geological and well log information to build comprehensive subsurface models.
