Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and data analysis to identify and delineate potential mineral resources.
• Interpret geophysical and geochemical data to refine exploration targets and guide drilling programs.
• Develop and manage exploration budgets and timelines for assigned projects.
• Prepare detailed geological reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including government agencies and landowners, to ensure compliance and facilitate access.
• Supervise drilling operations and core logging to ensure data quality and geological accuracy.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mineral exploration, with a focus on South African geology .
• Proficiency in geological software packages for data visualization and modeling (e.g., Leapfrog, ArcGIS).
• Demonstrated experience in various exploration techniques, including geochemistry, geophysics, and drilling.
• Strong understanding of mineral deposit formation and metallogeny relevant to the region.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex geological concepts clearly.
