Ideal candidates hold a PhD in a related field and have hands-on NGS and programming experience, with strong collaboration and communication skills for interdisciplinary work.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or a closely related field.
• Experience with Next-Generation Sequencing library prep and experimental workflows.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and pipeline development.
• Strong understanding of human genetics and molecular biology principles.
• Experience with public genomic databases (dbSNP, Ensembl, UCSC Genome Browser).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments utilizing Next-Generation Sequencing technologies, including whole-genome and exome sequencing.
• Perform comprehensive bioinformatic analysis of large genomic datasets, including variant calling, annotation, and association studies.
• Develop and implement novel computational pipelines for analyzing complex genomic data.
• Collaborate with clinicians and other researchers to integrate genomic findings with clinical data.
• Prepare and present research findings at national and international conferences.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation for publication in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
