The successful candidate will safeguard farm assets and engines, support conservation initiatives, and report progress to trustees. A genuine interest in conservation and the lifestyle of farm life are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on a farm is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience servicing farm equipment and engines.
• Honest, reliable and hard-working.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
• A genuine interest in conservation and the natural environment.
• Comfortable with the demands of farm life, including performing tasks outside normal working hours when required.
• Ability to take direction and instruction and act promptly.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise progress reports.
• Willingness to reside on the nature reserve.
