Job summary

Crawford International invites an experienced Information Technology Educator to lead the IT program for the Senior and FET Phases. The role focuses on delivering the IEB Information Technology curriculum (JAVA) to Grades 10–12, aligning with Crawford's future-focused education approach.

Ideal candidates hold an NQF7 degree with PGCE/B.Ed (FET) and SACE certification, plus 5–10 years of teaching IT. Police clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an NQF7 degree and PGCE or B.Ed (FET) with subject specialization.
• Experience teaching IT in FET (Grades 10–12) required.
• IEB IT curriculum experience (JAVA) preferred.
• SACE certification and police clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and assess IT instruction for FET Phase.
• Deliver IEB JAVA IT curriculum to Grades 10–12.
• Assess students and provide feedback to parents and admins.
• Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support personalised learning.
• Maintain classroom discipline and professional standards.
