Job summary

TMF Group, acting through TMF Fund Services, seeks a senior fund accounting professional to lead tax and audit processes and manage client deliverables. You will coordinate audits, tax returns, and quarterly/annual reporting while supervising a team and maintaining strong client relationships across internal and external stakeholders.

You will review complex calculations (fees, distributions, capital calls) and ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant GAAPs, contributing to a high-performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• ACCA/CA/CIMA with post-qualification experience preferred.
• Experience in fund accounting for alternative funds is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to auditors and tax accountants for audits and tax returns.
• Project manage the audit and tax process.
• Own client product delivery and manage internal/external timelines.
• Review quarterly management fees, management accounts and annual FS.
• Prepare distributions, capital calls and related letters.
• Handle carried interest, waterfalls and equalisation calculations.
• Maintain investor registers and payments.
• Read and interpret SLAs and agreements affecting operations and reporting deliverables.
• Lead client meetings and engage with stakeholders (valuations, treasury, investor relations).
• Train and assist managers with developing fund/senior fund accountants.
