Job summary

Core Group is seeking a Sales Consultant for our multi-brand technology kiosk at V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. You will be the face of the brand, delivering superb customer experiences, demonstrating products, and driving sales in a premium retail setting.

The role requires Matric and 4+ years in retail, preferably tech-focused, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will work in a dynamic team with weekends and holidays on the roster.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is the minimum requirement.
• 4+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in consumer electronics or premium retail.
• Passion for technology and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, energetic and customer-focused.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience using POS systems; iOS familiarity is advantageous.
• Live within 15km of the store.

About the Role

As a Sales Consultant, you'll be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences while helping customers discover the latest technology products and accessories that best suit their needs.

You'll be the face of our brand, confidently demonstrating products, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in a premium retail environment.

• Stay up to date with the latest technology products, promotions, and services.

What We're Looking For

• Matric (Grade 12 - Minimum requirement).
• Minimum of 4 years' retail sales experience, preferably in consumer electronics, technology, telecommunications, or premium retail.
• A passion for technology and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, energetic, and customer-focused approach.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience using POS systems (experience with iOS or similar technology is advantageous).
• Live within 15km of the store.

Working Hours

• Approximately 173.26 hours per month/40 hours per week.
• Retail trading hours, including weekends and public holidays, according to the store roster.

Location

• This position is based at our multi-brand technology kiosk in V & A Waterfront, Cape Town.
• Reliable transport or a good understanding of local public transport routes is essential.
