Placements24 seeks a Full-Time Live-Out Nanny in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal to care for two young children (ages 2 and 4). The role focuses on daily routines, safety, development, and engaging activities both indoors and outdoors.

You will plan age-appropriate play, prepare healthy meals, and maintain a tidy play and living space while communicating progress with parents. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and able to work independently, with a love for children and a clean criminal

Competenze

• Minimum of 3 years of nanny/childcare experience with toddlers/preschoolers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents and children.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Patience, reliability, and a love for children.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is preferred.

About the Role

Our client is an active and outgoing family based in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal , seeking a dynamic and experienced Full-Time Live-Out Nanny. This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys an active lifestyle and can engage children in a variety of stimulating activities, both indoors and outdoors. The family has two young children, aged 2 and 4, who thrive on exploration and play. The ideal candidate will be energetic, responsible, and possess a nurturing disposition. This role requires someone who can manage the daily routines of the children, ensure their safety and development, and become a trusted member of the household support team. We are looking for a proactive individual who can take initiative and contribute positively to the children's growth and happiness. A passion for outdoor activities and a creative approach to childcare are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for two young children, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and managing nap schedules.
• Plan and lead engaging indoor and outdoor activities, encouraging physical activity and creativity.
• Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times, both at home and during excursions.
• Prepare healthy and balanced meals and snacks for the children.
• Light housekeeping duties related to the children, such as tidying toys, children's rooms, and children's laundry.
• Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment, supporting early developmental milestones.
• Communicate effectively with parents about the children's day, progress, and any concerns.
• Transport children to and from activities, appointments, or school as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized play area and children's living spaces.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a nanny or childcare provider for toddlers and preschoolers.
• Proven ability to engage children in active play and creative activities.
• First Aid and CPR certification (current and valid).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for children.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A clean criminal record check.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Experience living or working in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal is a plus.
• Must be able to provide excellent references.
