Job summary

SAMRO invites applications for a Software Developer within the IT Systems team in Johannesburg. The role requires Matric plus a post‑Matric qualification in software development or equivalent experience, with 3–6 years in professional development.

Responsibilities

Perform software and data development/configuration using established tools and procedures.
Design software changes based on specifications and company standards.
Maintain and modify applications, document changes and perform unit testing.
Develop and execute unit and system integration testing.
Create and maintain documentation for new/modified apps and procedures.
Evaluate interrelationships between applications, modules and databases; manage impacts.
