Job summary

Standard Bank Group is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, code, test, debug and maintain applications within a continuous delivery pipeline. You will produce specifications and support systems aligned with QA standards while leveraging full lifecycle expertise.

Candidate should hold a relevant Bachelor's degree, 5–7 years of experience, and Azure DevOps or Developer certification. Azure Solutions Architect exposure is a plus. Johannesburg-based role with on-site work expected.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ proven experience in software engineering and full-stack application development.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• Azure Developer Associate and/or Azure DevOps Engineer certification is essential; Azure Solutions Architect is advantageous.
• Strong experience delivering solutions across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug and maintain software in CD pipeline environments.
• Produce software specifications in accordance with technical requirements.
• Provide support and maintenance of systems within software QA standards.
