Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking two Digital Full Stack Developers with strong DevSecOps expertise in Johannesburg. You will use Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to design and secure CI/CD pipelines, and implement security tooling such as SCA, SAST, and DAST.

Responsibilities include embedding secure CI/CD, migrating to secure IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and ensuring security standards across deployments in a large enterprise context.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a financial services environment.
• 5+ years building software in a large enterprise.
• 5+ years in DevOps & security roles.
• 5+ years with Ansible, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, Jira, Terraform, Git/GitHub.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps tooling: SCA, SAST, DAST, IAST, CWPP.
• Familiar with information security frameworks and standards.
• DevOps automation with Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Familiar with API, container, and AWS cloud security.
• Security automation experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and embed DevSecOps solutions (SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Help build secured CI/CD pipelines and maintain pipelines.
• Ensure deployments meet security requirements before release.
• Communicate security features to engineering teams.
• Advise on secure patterns and automation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with security and risk standards.
• Collaborate with Cloud team on AWS IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Proactively monitor and fix vulnerabilities; maintain knowledge base.
