Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant experience in fruit business would be advantageous.
• Attention to detail to ensure product quality and detect defects early.
• Reliability and strong work ethic with good attendance.
• Teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.
• Accountability and ownership of assigned tasks.
• Adaptability to changing production demands.
• Proactive safety awareness and adherence to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and completes all operational machine checks to ensure optimal output.
• Keep accurate records: traceability, operator checklist, OEE, and cleaning docs.
• Record stock on hand accurately.
• Manage work in progress and batch rotation.
• Coordinate rework to minimize levels.
• Aim to achieve production targets to required quality standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.
• Adhere to EHS and QFS standards.
• Follow SOPs for the processes as engaged.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of work areas.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
