Responsibilities

• Conducts and completes all operational machine checks to ensure optimal output.
• Keep accurate records: traceability, operator checklist, OEE, and cleaning docs.
• Record stock on hand accurately.
• Manage work in progress and batch rotation.
• Coordinate rework to minimize levels.
• Aim to achieve production targets to required quality standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.
• Adhere to EHS and QFS standards.
• Follow SOPs for the processes as engaged.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of work areas.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required.

Overview

Operates manufacturing/production/packaging machinery and equipment according to the SOP and operating guidelines for the intended output and function, while maintaining EHS & QFS standards.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and completes all operational machine checks and ensure that optimal functioning and output is achieved.
• Completion of records: traceablility, operator checklist, OEE and cleaning documents.
• Accurate record keeping of stock on hand.
• Manage work in progress (batch rotation)
• Coordinate rework optimally to keep levels low.
• Works to achieve production and output targets set to the correct quality standards.
• Reports on any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.
• Adherance to all EHS & QFS Standards.
• Follow SOP for the process engaged in.
• Ensure quality standards and report deviations.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of work area/station.
