Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Front of House (FOH) & Guest Relations specialist for a boutique safari lodge in the Greater Kruger area. You will welcome guests, manage check-ins, answer inquiries, and coordinate daily guest activities with guiding and kitchen teams.

The role requires 2–3 years in FOH or guest relations in luxury settings, excellent English, NightsBridge experience preferred, and a valid driver's license. On-site, remote nature reserve environment with live-in accommodation and meals.

Are you a warm, charismatic, and organized hospitality professional who loves creating unforgettable experiences for travelers? A boutique, intimate safari lodge situated in the Greater Kruger area is looking for a passionate Front of House (FOH) & Guest Relations specialist to be the welcoming face of our property.

In this multifaceted role, you will bridge the gap between seamless administration and heartfelt hospitality, ensuring our international and local safari guests feel at home from the moment they arrive until they say goodbye.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Hosting: Welcome arriving guests, conduct lodge orientations, and act as the primary point of contact for guest requests, dietary preferences, and general inquiries.
• Front of House Administration: Manage check-ins and check-outs, process guest bills, handle telephone or email inquiries, and coordinate daily guest schedules with the guiding and kitchen teams.
• Dining & Bar Supervision: Oversee meal setups (breakfast, lunch, and boma dinners), present menus, serve drinks, and ensure the dining and lounge areas maintain an inviting, high-standard ambiance.
• Concierge Services: Assist guests with booking external activities, transfers, or special celebrations.
• Quality Control: Do daily walk-throughs of public areas to ensure immaculate presentation and staging.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Front of House, Guest Relations, or Assistant Lodge Management role within a luxury bush lodge or boutique hotel environment.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong basic administrative skills and computer literacy (experience with property management systems like NightsBridge is highly advantageous).
• Hospitality Mindset: Exceptional interpersonal skills, an innate ability to anticipate guest needs, and a naturally warm, hosting personality.
• Presentation: Spotless professional presentation and grooming.
• Logistics: Valid driver’s license is required. Must be enthusiastic about living and working in a tranquil, remote nature reserve environment.

What We Offer

Competitive salary of R10,000 to R15,000 per month.

On-site live-in accommodation and all meals provided.
