Job summary

Electrum is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable front-end applications powering financial transactions at scale. You will shape a front-end function from the ground up, establishing processes, tooling, and a culture of quality.

Work with cross-functional teams on requirements, deliver clean TypeScript/React code, and own the full development lifecycle in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience working as a developer in a software team.
• Fluency with modern SPA frameworks — React preferred.
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills.
• Solid client-side state management experience.
• Experience with design-systems and reusable components.
• REST/GraphQL knowledge (optional).
• CI/CD with tests and linting.
• Focus on performance, security and accessibility.
• Experience operating enterprise-scale SPAs with feature flags.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality front-end code for scalable financial applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust React/TypeScript solutions.
• Own components, tooling, and front-end standards from inception to production.
