Job summary

Electrum is seeking a Platforms Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure platforms that support development, deployment, and operation of applications across the organisation. You will automate infrastructure, optimise CI/CD pipelines, and uphold platform reliability to empower engineering teams.

You will drive infrastructure-as-code practices, mentor engineers, and foster operational excellence in a fast-paced FinTech environment powered by modern tooling and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 4+ years as a Developer building/running Java or C# applications.
• 2+ years deploying Kubernetes clusters and managing cloud infrastructure.
• 2+ years designing & operating public cloud environments.
• Experience with GitOps/CI-CD for infrastructure as code and Helm deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable, secure platforms to support application development, deployment and operation.
• Automate infrastructure and optimise CI/CD pipelines to improve developer productivity.
• Drive Platform Engineering best practices and operational excellence through infrastructure-as-code.
• Mentor engineers on platform use and document processes for the team.
