Job summary

iX engineers (Pty) Ltd. seeks an experienced Project Manager with SACPCMP-aligned capabilities to manage built environment projects from initiation through close-out.

The role involves front-end planning, client approvals, procurement strategy, and multidisciplinary coordination across stages 1–6. You will lead design coordination, procurement readiness, contract administration, and stakeholder management while ensuring governance, risk, and cost controls are in place for successful project

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Project Management or related built-environment field.
• Registered or eligible for SACPCMP; Pr. CPM preferred; PMP advantageous.
• 5–8 years of client-side or consultant-side PM experience in built environment.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, briefs, budgets, and stage-gate deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Stages 1–6 of the life cycle.
• Administer contract strategy, risk, and procurement processes.
• Ensure design coordination, statutory approvals, and tender readiness.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and client reporting at all stages.
• Support business development and growth in the Cape Town branch.
