Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Project Customer Service Support, focused on freight forwarding via air, road, and sea. You will assist both internal and external sales, handle RFQ/RFI, and negotiate rates with subcontractors to deliver best-value solutions.

You will gather customer requirements, suggest routing and insurance options, and transfer successful sales to the Middle Office. Maintain rate validity and support tender processes across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience handling RFQ and RFI from prospective and current customers.
• Ability to negotiate rates with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and freight forwarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal and external sales on all transport modes by handling RFQ/RFI.
• Negotiate rates with subcontractors in line with Scope of Work and Incoterms.
• Gather customer requirements and propose routing, contingencies, and insurance options.
• Prepare estimates and submit quotes using the company template and rate sheets.
• Log and maintain rate validity, negotiate with service providers, and monitor quotes.
