Job summary

Pedros in Durban is seeking an experienced Franchising Manager to drive franchise growth across our brands, attract and onboard new partners, and ensure a seamless franchise journey from inquiry to handover.

You will build a robust pipeline, assess applicants' financial capacity and leadership, collaborate with Real Estate, Legal, Finance, Training and Operations, and pursue expansion opportunities with top performers.

Qualifications

Minimum 5-8 years' experience in franchising, franchise development, business development or multi-site retail growth.
Proven experience recruiting, assessing and onboarding franchisees.
Strong understanding of franchise business models, franchise agreements and commercial investment principles.
Excellent commercial, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a pipeline of prospective franchisees through sourcing, referrals, marketing campaigns and franchise networks.
Assess and qualify franchise applicants by evaluating financial capacity, business experience, leadership capability and operational suitability.
Present the franchise opportunity and guide approved candidates through the application, approval and franchise agreement process.
Partner with Real Estate, Development, Legal, Finance, Training and Operations to ensure a seamless franchisee onboarding experience.
Identify expansion opportunities with existing high-performing franchisees while maintaining governance and reporting across the pipeline.
