Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a seasoned finance leader to drive planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance reviews in a dynamic corporate setting. You will partner with senior stakeholders to guide strategic decisions and growth initiatives, delivering insightful financial analysis, modelling and reporting to executives.

The role requires 12+ years of progressive finance experience, CA(SA) or CIMA, and a track record of leading teams, optimising processes and driving digital finance

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience in complex corporate environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen translating financial data into actionable business decisions.
  • Proven track record partnering with executive stakeholders and influencing key decisions.
  • Experience leading financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
  • Proven leadership including coaching and developing teams.
  • Analytical, problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience driving process improvement and digital finance initiatives.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Exposure to large ERP environments and advanced Excel capabilities.

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance review activities.

  • Deliver meaningful commercial insights through financial analysis, modelling, and reporting.
  • Oversee periodic financial reviews, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of information.
  • Drive profitability improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance business performance.
  • Manage end-to-end planning cycles and monitor delivery against financial commitments.
  • Support investment and resource allocation decisions through data-driven recommendations.
  • Lead process optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
  • Present financial performance updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Develop and mentor finance professionals while fostering a high-performance team environment.

  • Experience leading financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting processes

  • Proven leadership capability, including coaching and developing teams

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Experience driving process improvement, transformation, or digital finance initiatives

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

  • Advanced stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills

  • Exposure to large ERP environments and advanced Excel capabilities


Qualification:


  • CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent professional designation – Non-Negotiable.
