Job summary

Nova Pioneer is seeking a Foundation Phase Apprentice Teacher for Ruimsig Primary School for 2027. You will partner with a Resident Teacher to empower students through enquiry-based learning, within an innovative network of schools focused on developing generations of leaders across Africa.

You are a current or soon-to-be BEd Foundation Phase student in year 3 or 4 or pursuing a PGCE in 2027, working under a Resident Teacher to gain real classroom experience and professional feedback.

Qualifications

• Current or upcoming 3rd/4th year of BEd or PGCE in 2027.
• Experience with English and Mathematics teaching or curriculum knowledge is preferred but not compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Support Resident teachers to deliver enquiry-based lessons.
• Assist in setting rigorous goals and provide student feedback.
• Collaborate with resident teachers to assess student progress using data.
