Job summary

Nova Pioneer is seeking Foundation Phase Apprentice Teachers for the Ormonde Primary Campus in 2027. Applicants are currently in the 3rd or 4th year of their BEd or pursuing a PGCE in 2027, with provisional SACE registration.

They will work alongside Resident Teachers to implement enquiry-based learning. Apprentices will be guided through observation, feedback and coaching, and will participate in ongoing professional development, teamwork, and school activities aimed at developing future Nova

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and entering your third or fourth year of study OR a Bachelor’s Degree + Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• B.Ed Foundation Phase required or in progress for 2027 intake
• Provisional SACE registration is required
• English and Mathematics teaching experience or curriculum knowledge; Cambridge/Curriculum knowledge is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Support Resident teachers to deliver engaging enquiry-based lessons
• Collaborate with the resident teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback
• Participate in professional development and team meetings
• Communicate with parents as appropriate and contribute to co-curricular activities
