Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a reliable Materials Handler for our client’s Sandton facility to ensure smooth material flow from receiving to dispatch. You will operate forklifts, maintain inventory accuracy, and keep a safe, organized warehouse.

The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and efficiency. On-the-job training will be provided, with opportunities for growth within the operations team.

Qualifications

• Prev experience in warehouse/logistics
• Valid forklift operator certification
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and finished goods.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials between different areas of the plant as required by production schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and system updates.
• Organize warehouse space to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of items.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling and warehouse operations.
