Job summary

Premier FMCG is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor for the Bakery division. You will lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure asset care and compliance with Premier quality and safety standards on site. The role involves working a 6-day week, including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities include optimizing plant asset management, driving continuous improvement, and building capacity for succession planning within the team.

Qualifications

• Trade-tested artisan with leadership experience.

Purpose of the Job:

To lead and supervise the Bakery maintenance team responsible for asset care through preventative and corrective maintenance on site according to Premier quality and safety standards. (The Premier way).

Responsibilities:

• To ensure optimal plant asset management
• Ensure high-performance culture in the maintenance team
• To ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance to all health and safety and food safety requirements
• To ensure continuous improvement of the maintenance process and function
• To complete training and development and stand in for the Maintenance manager as needed to build capacity in the succession pipeline for this role.

Qualification and experience:

• Relevant trade test
• 3 -5 years' experience in an Artisan position
• 2 – 3 years' experience in a foreman position

• 6-day position
• Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays as the business requires
• Ability to work in a team environment
