Overview
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To supervise and assist the team in the safe execution of all electrical activities
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- A recognized Trade Qualification (Section 13/26D) OR
- Proof of recognized completed apprenticeship contract (completed by means of effluxion of time) and a NTC2 (Recognized Trade Theory) Qualification is essential
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Electrician is essential
- Foreman Certificate would be considered advantageous
- Must have SAP knowledge
- Valid medical certificate or must be medically fit to obtain such a certificate

Key Performance Areas
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Supervise electrical maintenance activities
- Guide and assist Electricians with daily maintenance activities
- Maintain control of Electrical workshops, stores and main sub-stations
- Control and order of stock for all parts, equipment and materials required.
- Analyze and solve electrical problems
- Stay informed on the latest technology for application or replacement of present electrical technology and divulge the necessary information to personnel
- Attend to callouts with regards to electrical breakdowns
- Assist with fault finding of leaky feeder systems
