Job summary

Hire Resolve’s client in Johannesburg, a leader in cold storage and logistics, seeks a meticulous Food Safety Coordinator to own critical safety processes.

You will oversee HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000 and SANS compliance, update food safety programs, train staff, and coordinate audits, while ensuring traceability and supplier compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Matric is essential.
• Diploma or Degree in Food Technology or related field is essential.
• 2–5 years of hands-on food safety experience in cold storage, logistics, or food handling.
• Solid experience with HACCP, GMP, and food safety audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with HACCP, FSSC 22000, GMP, and SANS standards.
• Maintain and update food safety programs and HACCP systems.
• Conduct internal audits and prepare for external audits.
• Train staff in hygiene and food safety practices.
• Monitor sanitation procedures, pest control, and environmental testing.

• Manage documentation and regulatory reporting.
