Placements24 is seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Director for Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This hybrid role requires leading the end-to-end supply chain in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will drive strategy across procurement, inventory, warehousing, transportation and distribution, build high-performing teams, and partner with suppliers to optimize costs and service levels. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's (masters preferred), 10+ years' experience, and a proven track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive supply chain and logistics management, with 5+ years in a director role in FMCG.
• Proven ability to optimize complex supply chains, drive cost savings, and improve efficiency.
• Hybrid work model with regular office presence in Durban.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and service levels.
• Oversee procurement, inventory, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
• Lead and mentor the supply chain and logistics teams.
• Establish relationships with suppliers and logistics providers.
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions; ensure compliance with regulations.
