Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced FMCG Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations at the Richards Bay facility in KwaZulu-Natal. You will lead a team of production staff, ensuring schedules, quality standards and safety compliance are met while driving improvements to reduce waste and downtime.

The role requires strong leadership, lean manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality control and safety.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities on the factory floor, ensuring schedules and quality standards for FMCG products.
• Lead, train and motivate a team of production operators and line workers to maintain safe operations in Richards Bay.
• Monitor production processes, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and defects.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Manage production resources, including materials, equipment and personnel, to meet targets efficiently.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
