Placements24 is seeking a seasoned National Sales Manager to lead the FMCG sales agenda from Bloemfontein, driving revenue growth and expanding distribution networks across the country.

You will set targets, coach a high-performing team of regional managers, and build strong relationships with national accounts, distributors, and retailers while collaborating with marketing and product teams to craft cohesive go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive sales management experience in FMCG.
• Proven track record of exceeding national sales targets and driving market share growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Deep understanding of the South African retail and wholesale landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with the company's goals.
• Lead, manage, and motivate regional sales managers and representatives to achieve quotas.
• Establish and maintain relationships with national accounts, distributors, and retailers.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies.
