Placements24 is seeking a creative Merchandising Manager for Soweto, Gauteng. You will develop in-store merchandising strategies, manage product placements and displays, and ensure brand visibility aligns with marketing objectives.

Regular on-site store visits across Soweto will be essential to drive sales and reinforce the brand presence. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in merchandising/retail, strong visual skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in merchandising, retail management, or related role.
• Proven ability to develop and implement successful merchandising strategies.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and consumer behaviour.
• Excellent visual merchandising skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule of store visits.
• Experience in Soweto, Gauteng retail landscape is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute in-store merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and sales.
• Plan and manage placement of products, displays, and POS materials.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure merchandising standards are met.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize product placement and assortment.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to align merchandising with campaigns.
• Train and guide retail staff on merchandising best practices.
• Monitor competitor merchandising activities and identify differentiation opportunities.
• Manage inventory of merchandising materials and ensure timely distribution.
• Provide feedback to marketing and sales on retail execution and consumer response.
• Ensure compliance with store layouts and brand guidelines.
