Placements24, on behalf of a leading FMCG company, offers an Internship for a motivated Junior Brand Assistant in Soweto, Gauteng. This role provides hands-on exposure to brand management and marketing support within a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

You will assist with campaigns, market research, social media planning, and marketing collateral while learning from experienced Brand Managers. The internship includes mentorship, practical project work, and potential future opportunities

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interest in brand management and the FMCG industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
• Enthusiasm for marketing and brand development.
• Based in or able to easily commute to Soweto, Gauteng.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns under the guidance of Brand Managers.
• Support the creation of marketing collateral, presentations, and reports.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to gather insights for brand strategies.
• Help manage social media content calendars and assist with online engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics for marketing events, photoshoots, and promotional activities.
• Track and report on key marketing metrics and campaign performance.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to brand management and marketing activities.
• Liaise with internal departments and external agencies as needed.
• Maintain brand assets and ensure consistency across all communications.
• Contribute ideas and support brainstorming sessions for new marketing initiatives.
