Job summary

Emeris Nelson Mandela Bay Campus seeks Teaching Experience Supervisors to support the Faculty of Education. You will supervise student teaching experiences, evaluate lessons, and promote ethical teaching practices during visits to schools.

Ideal candidates hold an Honours or a Postgraduate Diploma in Education with a focus on Intermediate/Foundation/Early Childhood phases and bring at least 5 years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Honours or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (NQF8)
• Focus on teaching in the Intermediate Phase, Foundation Phase and/or Early Childhood Teaching
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in foundation or intermediate phase

Responsibilities

• Maintain good relations with schools and uphold Emeris' reputation.
• Evaluate teaching experience lessons and provide students with feedback.
• Direct students to good teaching practice and ethics within the profession.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Be flexible to visit schools in the based area for evaluation lessons.
