Placements24 is seeking a proactive Fleet Manager to oversee a diverse commercial vehicle fleet in Rustenburg, North West. You will optimize performance, drive cost-efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead driver teams.

You will handle scheduling, routing, maintenance planning, fuel programs, and safety protocols while maintaining accurate fleet records and coordinating with procurement and operations.

Strong leadership, communication, and experience with fleet software are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet management or a similar supervisory role.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, DOT regulations, and safety best practices.
• Excellent organizational and logistics management skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and MS Office.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to manage drivers and coordinate with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the commercial vehicle fleet, including scheduling, routing, and dispatch.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all vehicles, ensuring they are kept in safe, legal, and operational condition.
• Monitor and control fleet operational costs, including fuel, maintenance, insurance, and licensing.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures for all drivers and vehicles.
• Maintain accurate fleet records, including vehicle registrations, insurance, and driver qualifications.
