Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Logistics and Fleet Driver for Rustenburg and surrounding regions. You will manage local and regional transportation, ensuring smooth materials flow and vehicle readiness, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes hands-on vehicle maintenance, route optimization, and coordination with the logistics team to meet delivery schedules and service standards in the North West province.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver's license with PDP.
• Minimum 4 years of professional driving experience, with fleet operations.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Knowledge of Rustenburg and surrounding north west road networks.
• Ability to handle physical loading/unloading tasks.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate fleet vehicles for cargo transport across local and regional routes.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and minor repairs as needed.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.
• Ensure cargo is secured and delivered safely without damage.
• Maintain records of deliveries, fuel use, and servicing.
• Liaise with logistics to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and fleet availability.
