Placements24 seeks a skilled Fleet Driver to operate from the Centurion hub, handling a range of transport assignments and safeguarding company assets. You will play a key role in maintaining safety, route efficiency, and professional conduct across the regional logistics network.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, holds a Code 10 or Code 14 license, and demonstrates strong safety awareness with good knowledge of the Centurion area.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various fleet vehicles, including trucks and vans, for transport and delivery purposes.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules diligently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Perform routine checks on vehicle systems, reporting and addressing any maintenance needs.
• Ensure all cargo is safely loaded, secured, and properly documented.
• Comply with all national and local driving regulations and company safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery activities.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver's license .
• Minimum of 3 years' experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Good knowledge of the Centurion and greater Gauteng road network.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including loading/unloading.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and defensive driving techniques.
• Clear criminal record and a professional conduct record.
