Job summary

Chainlink SA in Rustenburg is seeking a qualified, trade-tested Fitter & Turner with strong mechanical maintenance experience to join our client. You will fault-find and maintain conveyors, crushers, screens, feeders and slurry pumps.

Chrome plant maintenance experience is highly advantageous. The role requires you to work both independently and as part of a team, starting ASAP and maintaining equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• Qualified Fitter & Turner with trade testing.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in chrome plant maintenance is highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge of conveyors, jaw crushers and vsi crushers.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical maintenance — perform maintenance and repairs on plant equipment.
• Inspections & fault-finding — identify faults and perform preventive maintenance.
• Conveyor systems — maintain and repair conveyors and belts.
• Crushers — work on jaw crushers and VSI crushers.
• Screens & feeders — maintain screens, feeders and related equipment.
• Slurry pumps — repair and maintain slurry pumps.
• Operational reliability — keep equipment running with minimal downtime.
• Safety compliance — follow safety procedures and standards.
