Job summary

Bosch Rexroth Africa seeks a qualified fitter to assemble and commission hydraulic systems in industrial and mobile setups. You will read drawings, diagnose hydraulic issues, and perform repairs, with overtime and travel as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a Fitter Red Seal, have proven fitter experience, and be medically fit with strong communication and teamwork skills. Based in Richards Bay, the role focuses on field and workshop activities.

Qualifications

• Post Matric or N3 with Certification as a Fitter Red Seal Trade test.
• Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics.
• Hydraulic skill is an advantage.
• Good communication and people skills (Team Player).
• Overtime with standby and travel.
• Medically fit.

Responsibilities

• Assembling machinery and equipment before installation.
• Performing diagnostic tests on functioning machinery to ensure safety.
• Fault finding on hydraulic systems.
• Repairing and replacing equipment and commissioning of systems.
• Reading and understanding hydraulic circuits.
