Job summary

Bridgestone Brits Manufacturing Plant in Brits, ZA is seeking a qualified Fitter to ensure machine availability and maintain rotating equipment within the planned budget. This on-site, full-time role requires hands-on maintenance and proactive inspections.

The successful candidate will perform machine set ups, daily walkthroughs, and morning checks for lubrication and leaks, applying 5S principles and using measuring tools such as micrometers and verniers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the mechanical field on rotation machinery, hydraulics and pneumatics in a manufacturing environment.
• Qualified Fitter with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform machine set ups and planned maintenance.
