Job summary

MA Automotive Tool and Die (PTY) Ltd in Berlin Plant 5 seeks a skilled Fitter/Millwright to repair and maintain press machinery in an automotive environment.

You will perform preventative maintenance per schedule, follow job cards, and report repair data to the Team Leader while ensuring adherence to SHEQ and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• N2/N3 qualified fitter, Fitter & Turner or Millwright preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Fitter / Millwright in an Automotive environment.
• Hydraulic and mechanical press experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain press machinery to meet quality standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule and job cards.
• Compile feedback on timesheets and forward to Team Leader.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, work instructions and quality systems.
• Participate in departmental mini business activities as required.
• Ensure work practices comply with SHEQ procedures.

A VACANCY EXISTS IN THE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT IN BERLIN PLANT 5 FOR A FITTER

Primary purpose of the job:

Repair and maintain press machinery to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.

Key Performance Areas:

Repair and maintain press machinery to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.

Do preventative maintenance a per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant work instruction.

Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data and forward to the Team Leader

Ensure that company procedures, work instructions and quality systems are always adhered to

Participate actively in the departmental mini business as per company requirement

Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHEQ procedures and work instructions.
