Job summary

SBV Services (Pty) Ltd. is seeking a Firearm and Assets Control Officer in eMalahleni to manage the firearm vault, issue assets, and maintain accurate registers.

The role requires 3 years of CIT experience and a Grade 12 qualification, with a focus on compliance with Firearms Control Act and related regulations. You will balance the vault, coordinate handovers, and ensure proper documentation is maintained across daily tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive firearms and assets as per SOPs
• Validate recipient identity and match to issued permits
• Update and reconcile firearms, ammunition and equipment registers
• Balance vault daily and conduct handovers between officers
• Maintain and file records for audits and statutory reporting
• Liaise with SAPS and ensure competency certificates are valid
• Administer system entries and log faults with service desk
• Support control room duties and assist with stock control
